About Our CSA

Community supported agriculture, or CSA, is a season-long direct partnership between a farmer and their customers. In the CSA model, a customer subscribes with a farm to receive a weekly box of produce. The relationship is mutually beneficial, as customers receive more veggies for their money while their financial commitment supports the farmer throughout the season. The contents of the box will vary throughout the year, as we send you the vegetables currently at their seasonal peak.

A CSA subscription will allow for true in-and-out experience as you stock up on your weekly Eloisa Organic Farm produce. There will be no need for face-to-face interaction, just come by our booth at the market and check your name off our list as you take your pre-packed box of freshly harvested goodies. CSA boxes are good for the environment too, as shipping and packaging are minimized.

We accept SNAP food benefits and Double Up Food Bucks as payment for our CSA subscription. Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB) is a program that provides matching money when you use your SNAP food benefits to purchase a CSA box. DUFB are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. We hope that our produce can be accessible to all. 

Our 2022 CSA will include three seasons: Spring (April 2-June 18), Summer (June 25-September 17), and Fall (September 24-November 19). The Montavilla market starts a bit later in the spring, so if that is your pickup location your first box will be on May 1. You may choose to purchase one, two, or all three seasons. The cost is $25/week. To register, please complete the “Sign Up” form below.

Your enrollment will be confirmed when we receive your payment. Payment is due in full by March 19 for the Spring season, May 15 for the Summer, and August 15 for the Fall. We can accept cash, check, or money order dropped off in person at a market but no credit or debit cards. Checks can be mailed to Eloisa Organic Farm at 1734 NW Gibson Way, Albany OR 97321. Our online payment processing option is to send the money via Zelle to our farm phone number, 5419796118. If you are paying with SNAP or DUFB please check the box in the registration form and we will contact you with more details about the process.

If you give us a full week’s notice (2 is even better) by email that you will miss a box, we offer one vacation coupon per season for $25 worth of produce at our farmers’ market booth. It will be sent to your street address.

We will have 4 pickup locations. The PSU and Hollywood markets are on Saturday during market hours. The Montavilla market is on Sunday. The North Albany pickup, which will be at a new location this year, is also on Sunday.

If you would like to join the CSA after a season begins, don’t worry! You are welcome to join for the remainder of the season at a pro-rated cost of $25 per week.
