About Our CSA
(Registration Closed for 2025)
We are Virginia Herrera and Zenon Ramirez, originally from the village of Asuncion Atoyaquillo, Oaxaca. We have lived in the US for 25 years working for Spring Hill Organic Farm. In 2019, the owner of Spring Hill retired, and we made a long-term dream come true and went into business for ourselves, working the same land that we have for the last twenty years. We’re proud to be a part of the local food community here in Oregon. Thank you for considering joining the Eloisa familia.

Community supported agriculture, or CSA, is a relationship between you and your farmer. In the CSA model, a customer subscribes with a farm to receive a weekly box of produce. The relationship is mutually beneficial, as customers receive more veggies for their money while their financial commitment supports the farmer throughout the season. The contents of the box will vary throughout the year, as we send you the vegetables currently at their seasonal peak. 2023 was our first season hosting our first ever CSA Appreciation Day, we did it again last year, and we can’t wait to keep the tradition going for years to come! 2025 CSA Day date TBD, but it’s always in early September.
A big draw to CSA is convenience! Skip waiting in lines and get a true in-and-out, self-serve experience as you stock up on your weekly Eloisa Organic Farm produce. Rather than waiting in long market lines, you just come by our booth at the market and check your name off our list as you take your pre-packed box of freshly harvested goodies. And our market team is always there if you have any questions about any new veggie friends in your box! While farmers are faced with increasingly unpredictable weather and cost increases, CSA offers stability when a farm needs it the most.
Box Contents
We grow a wide variety of certified organic vegetables and are known for having one of the best selections of specialty peppers and tomatoes in the state. Each box contains a mix of greens, staple foods, herbs, and specialty items that change throughout the season. Every week, we send out an email on Fridays listing the veggies of the week, produce descriptions and recipe ideas, keeping you up to date with what’s going on at the farm. 2025 CSA Seasons
We offer three shorter and more affordable CSA seasons, Spring, Summer, and Fall. You can sign up to pay as you go one season at a time, as long as we complete your registration before the corresponding deadline. We do also offer a 3% discount for paying up front for the full 30 weeks, as early season support makes a big impact on the farm. For those who are able, we definitely encourage the up front support.
Can I pay for a CSA with SNAP? Yes! If you receive SNAP food benefits (food stamps), you can use your SNAP card to to pay for your CSA share and get 50% off the total price with Double Up Food Bucks! Thanks to the PNWCSA Coalition, you get to choose how many months your payments get spread over, and your payment will be processed the day you receive your benefits. We’ll help you through the process, it’s literally just two forms to fill out.

This season we will not be offering late season joins so that we can spend less time on the computer and more time in the field! Thanks so much in advance for understanding and reach out if you have any questions at csa.eloisaorganicfarm@gmail.com.

Update for Bi-weekly pick-ups
We are not offering a bi-weekly pick-up option for the 2025 season.
We trialed it last year and found that weekly really works best for us and our teams both on farm and at markets. Apologies in advance for the inconvenience, and thank you for undersanding. In order to provide some flexibility, see our new option below to take up to 2 weeks off each season in advance when you register.
What if I need to take a week off?
In place of vacation vouchers, this season each member can simply take up to two weeks off each season ahead of time. You don’t need to know which dates you need off right now! We’ll just deduct the number of weeks off from your total in advance, and you let us know your dates off with at least one week’s notice. But as always, members can reach out in the case of any emergency and we’ll figure something out 🙂
Registration & Payment
Now accepting SNAP & DUFB! Thanks to the PNWCSA Coalition, we can now offer our CSA boxes at a discounted rate of 50% off for anyone paying with SNAP. We will take the cost of the share, split it in half, and then spread that remaining cost out over the course of a few months, taking funds out of your SNAP account the day you receive your benefits.
To register for our CSA, please fill out the Registration Form below and we will respond with an email with your payment options. You can opt to pay at market with cash, a check, or credit card (additional 3% fee). We can also accept Square payments online. We prefer not to accept payments by mail but can be flexible as needed. Gracias!
